What if I have access two multiple Touro libraries? How do I login to each?
Answer
You may have access to multiple Touro libraries if you:
- a dual degree TUN COM/TUC PH student
- you are faculty at multiple campus
- an employee at one campus and a student at another
You should be able to access all libraries you have access to with your TouroOne credentials. However, because internet browsers track previous logins, you may see error messages and have difficulty switching between multiple Touro libraries. Please follow the below instructions and contact the library if you have any issues accessing TUC Library resources.
1. Always start at the website of the Library you are trying to access. If you are trying to access TUC Library resources, you want to start at our Library Website. It is also a good idea to start with a new browser, incognito tab, or after clearing your browser cache.
2. Select TouroOne as your login method.
3. When you see a list of organizations, select the appropriate Touro library. If you are trying to access a TUC library resource, you must select Touro University - California. If you are trying to access a TUN library resource, select Touro University - Nevada.
Note, you should only see organizations for libraries where you are a patron. If you believe you should have access to a library but do not see it on your list of options, please contact tuc.library@touro.edu for assistance.
You should be able to access the library you selected now.
A few tips:
- You want to make sure that you are going through the correct Library’s website and links.
- Because our browsers track previous logins, it may be a good idea to use different browsers for each library. Example: Firefox for one and Chrome for another. Or you can use an incognito/private window in your preferred browser. This is to make sure that the browser is prompting you for login and allowing you to select the organization you are attempting to access.
- If you are looking for a specific database, article, or book, make sure you check both libraries!
Contact the Library or the Electronic Resources Librarian (acastro13@touro.edu) for assistance and troubleshooting.
